Morning At Abbott Creek, Wickwood, Maine
One evening in October I walked with my aunt and uncle on their property in Maine. Even at dusk I knew this view would become a painting. I went out the next morning and took photos with the sunlight making the ripples vibrate with color. This piece was a bit of magic for me. The image is complicated but it didn't overwhelm me, even though there are lots of new things to render in this newish technique. And this one is pretty large: 20.5 x 30" in a 29 x 39" frame.
And it is indeed SOLD.
I do have a very limited edition (5) of fine art giclee prints of this image, at the same size as the original. Please message me if you're interested in a print.
